
Lowell began acting in Dangerously Close, followed by one small role in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. She was later cast in the role of Bond girl Pam Bouvier (1989), as well as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross (1996-1996). She appeared on Law and Order's spinoff Law & Order Trial by Jury and then again on the original series in 2022. Prior to landing the role she was frustrated with her acting career , and had applied to study documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She quit acting around the year 2000. Lowell was able to lend Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012, while reprising her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018, she appeared on the screen, appearing as guest on the TV show Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. Her first husband was fashion photographer John Stember, to whom she was married from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] The couple was together as actor Griffin Dunne from 1989 to 1995. She has one daughter, Hannah, from the marriage. [citation needed] Lowell got married to Richard Gere [11] in November 2002, following the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. After 11 years of union, the couple broke up in September 2013. They were incarcerated for three years in New York Supreme Court divorce proceedings.
