KimAmerican actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen was born February 16, 1989 in Sherman Oaks, California. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She started acting at four years old. After appearing in Martha Marcy May Marlene's film, the actress was acclaimed and nominated to the Critics Choice Film Award. The film was followed by Silent House. Olsen was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star Award and she graduated from New York University two year later. Olsen gained worldwide recognition for her portrayal as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise which includes the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) as well as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), as well as the miniseries WandaVision (2021). Her role in WandaVision received her nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.Outside of her involvement with Marvel, Olsen starred in the horror film Godzilla (2014), the mystery film Wind River (2017), and the dramatic drama Ingrid Goes West (2017). She was executive producer of and also starred in Sorry for Your Loss (2018-19), receiving a Critics' choice Television Award nomination.
