Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1992) is a Canadian-born actress. She was the character Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was raised and born within British Columbia. Her acting career began from a young age, learning about musical theatre, dancing and other forms of entertainment. Her career path began early, when she graduated high school and went to the Vancouver Film School. There, she completed the Acting Essentials course. Following the completion of the course and attending an audition for open calls and was able to get her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver. Her rapport with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the audience, as well as the sarcastic comments she made led to the initial contract as a single-episode guest star. However, due to the positive reaction of the fans she received the actress was later signed on as a Regular Character for Season 2.
