Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, along with three of his classmates, formed a music band called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing results. The musician always had an interest in music but would like to work as an attorney or a physical therapist. Working part-time in a local bakery was his first job to earn money for the family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they formed in 2010. The group sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which helped them become one of the leading contenders to win the contest. However they were 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
